The welding thickness of handheld laser welding machine is related to the welding power, welding material, and welding speed.
 
When using laser welding machine, the welding thickness determines how high the power of the laser welding machine should be used. The thicker the welded workpiece, the higher the power of the selected laser welding machine. Different welding materials have varying degrees of laser absorption, and during welding, it is necessary to flexibly adjust the power size according to the welding material to meet the welding thickness. The speed of welding can affect the amount of heat input during welding. If the welding speed is too slow, the heat input is too large and it is easy to burn through the workpiece; If the welding speed is too fast, the heat input is too small, and the workpiece cannot be fully welded.
 
Generally speaking, the corresponding welding thickness for different powers is as follows (for reference only):
1. 1000W laser welding machine: The welding effect is good for plates with a thickness of less than 2mm.
2. 1500W laser welding machine: The welding effect is good for plates with a thickness of less than 4mm.
3. 2000W laser welding machine: The welding effect is good for plates with a thickness of less than 6mm.
4. 3000W laser welding machine, with good welding effect for plates with a thickness of less than 10mm.
 
Handheld laser welding machine is a new type of efficient welding equipment. The deeper the penetration, the greater the thickness that can be welded; The smaller the spot, the more concentrated the energy, and the stronger the welding. For example, when welding 2mm thick stainless steel plates, a 1000W laser welding machine can be selected, which will have a faster welding speed.
